Coils
Discover our selection of replacement vape coils. Here, you will find a variety of mouth-to-lung and sub-ohm coils from top brands such as SMOK, Aspire, Innokin, and Vaporesso. Vape coils are an essential component of most e-cigarettes and vape tanks, as they play a crucial role in your vaping experience. In simple terms, vape coils are the heating elements that heat up the e-liquid mixture and transform it into the vapor that you inhale. Since coils eventually burn out and impact the flavor of your vape juice, it is important to replace them regularly. To ensure you achieve the perfect vape for your setup, it is crucial to choose the appropriate type of vape coil for your kit or tank.
Define a vape coil.
Typically found in most e-cigarettes is a vape coil. It comprises a wire wrapped in either cotton or wick cloth. Flavious vapour is produced when the wick absorbs the vaping liquid and moves it through the coil.
Among the three necessary components for vaping, the coil is one. The two other are the battery, which provides electricity, and the tank holding the liquid. The coil's purpose is to heat the liquid such that it becomes vapour.
Different resistances or ohms of coils let you customise your vaping experience based on taste. We will go into ohm's and resistance below more specifically.
Your coils should be replaced when?
Your smoking patterns will determine how often you replace coils. The type of liquid you use and the wattage or temperature you use for vaping all affect the lifetime of a coil, hence there is no one set guideline.
When your e-liquid tastes starts to fade and you start to taste burnt, you will know it's time to switch your coil.
- Heavy Vaper: You might have to replace coils every four to six days if you use your kit constantly during the day.
- Medium Vaper: Regular smokers should find coils to last up to fourteen days.
- Light Vaper: Coils can last up to three weeks if you use your kit intermittently or socially during the day.
Which coil fit my tank or kit?
The brand of tank or kit you are running determines the coil you require. It is imperative to select the right universal coil for your system since none suits all tanks. For example, Aspires coils cannot be used in that tank if your SMOK Vape Pen 22. Most brands, however, provide e-cigarettes compatible with different tanks or kits in their range.
Ohms are what? How should I determine the appropriate resistance?
Ohms describe the resistance of your coil; the ohms you select will define your vaping experience. Coils run in 0.15 to 2.8 ohm range.
Resistance of sub ohm coils is 1.0 ohm or less. Designed for use with higher VG liquids, they generate more vapour, provide a warmer vape with strong flavour, and give Still, their reduced resistance and greater vaping temperatures cause them to eat juice faster.
Higher Ohm coils exhibit a resistance of one ohm and more. They consume less e-liquid, create less vapour, and give a mouth-to-lung vaping experience akin to inhaling from a cigarette. These lower temperature coils produce a more forceful throat impact. Higher ohm coils are usually preferred by those who recently started vaping or smokers switching to vaping.
