Coils

Discover our selection of replacement vape coils. Here, you will find a variety of mouth-to-lung and sub-ohm coils from top brands such as SMOK, Aspire, Innokin, and Vaporesso. Vape coils are an essential component of most e-cigarettes and vape tanks, as they play a crucial role in your vaping experience. In simple terms, vape coils are the heating elements that heat up the e-liquid mixture and transform it into the vapor that you inhale. Since coils eventually burn out and impact the flavor of your vape juice, it is important to replace them regularly. To ensure you achieve the perfect vape for your setup, it is crucial to choose the appropriate type of vape coil for your kit or tank.

What is a vape coil?

A vape coil is a component found in most e-cigarettes. It consists of a wire wrapped in wick or cotton material. The wick absorbs the vaping liquid and transports it through the coil, resulting in the production of flavorful vapor.

The coil is one of the three essential parts required for vaping. The other two are the tank, which holds the liquid, and the battery, which supplies power. The coil's function is to heat the liquid and transform it into vapor.

Coils are available in various resistances or ohms, allowing you to personalize your vaping experience according to your preferences. We will provide further explanation on ohm's and resistance below.

When should you replace your coils?

The frequency of coil replacement depends on your vaping habits. There is no set rule for how long a coil will last, as it is influenced by various factors such as the type of liquid and the wattage or temperature you use for vaping.

You will know it's time to change your coil when the flavor of your e-liquid diminishes and you start experiencing a burnt taste.

  • Heavy Vaper: If you use your kit continuously throughout the day, you may need to replace coils every four to six days.
  • Medium Vaper: If you vape regularly, coils can last up to fourteen days.
  • Light Vaper: If you use your kit socially or sporadically throughout the day, coils can last up to three weeks.

Which coil is suitable for my tank/kit?

The coil you need depends on the brand of tank or kit you are using. There is no universal coil that fits all tanks, so it is crucial to choose the correct one for your setup. For instance, if you have a SMOK Vape Pen 22, you cannot use Aspires coils in that tank. However, most brands offer e cig coils that are compatible with various tanks or kits in their range.

What are ohms and how do I choose the right resistance?

Ohms refer to the resistance of your coil, and the ohms you choose will determine your vaping experience. Coils range from 0.15 to 2.8 ohms.

Sub Ohm coils have a resistance of 1.0 ohm or below. They produce more vapor, offer a warmer vape with intense flavor, and are designed for use with higher VG liquids. However, they consume liquid faster due to their lower resistance and higher vaping temperatures.

Higher Ohm coils have a resistance of 1 ohm and above. They produce less vapor, use less e-liquid, and provide a mouth-to-lung vaping experience similar to inhaling from a cigarette. These coils are used at lower temperatures and deliver a stronger throat hit. People new to vaping or smokers transitioning to vaping often prefer higher ohm coils.
